Overview

Certain scriptures become “Sacred Cows” that Christians accept as holy rather than search for the real meaning. This book will shed light on some of the most misunderstood scriptures in the Bible.

• Does God cause sickness for His glory?
• Do all things work together for good?
• What about Job?
• Are trials a test from God?
• How does God chasten Christians?

The answers to these and more questions can be found by rightly dividing the Word of God. The KNOWLEDGE of the truth will set you free!

This book is so easy to read! What a funny and inspirational understanding of some of those scriptures that truly hold so many disciples of Christ in bondage. Not only does the author point out specific scriptures and how, taken out of context, the enemy, the devil, has turned them into yokes of bondage and not the Good News God intended. Learning to discern the word of God in context helps one to identify the half truths and lies that have been carried around as binding yokes of bondage. Satan has truly done a number on us by twisting around the words, and by our own failure to seek out the matters of God and find out what the Bible really has to say about the Good News of the New Covenant and our inheritance WITH Christ. Charles Capps clearly divids facts from fiction and gives valuable tools in his text to help us continue to rightly divide the word of God for ourselves and see the Good News of the Gospel and not the burdens Satan keeps hoping to bind upon on our souls.
