Overview

About the Author

Kit DeCanti is a Northern California girl, and has been writing mysteries ever since the 1950s, when she and her siblings spent the hot summers inventing mysteries to solve. Kit continued to write, but seriously put pen to paper-- or fingers to key board, as it were-- in the late 1990s when she sat down and wrote her first novel over a three year time period. Kit rewrote it several times- while also writing the first 3 mysteries in The Cobb Mt Mystery Series, finally releasing it, CROSSROADS INN TIME, in 2012 as the fourth in the series. The first, SECRET ON COBB MOUNTAIN, was published in 2009, and before it was in print she had two sequels swimming in her head: RETURN TO COBB MOUNTAIN and KONOCTI CAVES. Although her suspenseful mysteries could stand on their own-- Kit typically wraps an intriguing romance around them. As if a mystery and romance weren't enough-- Kit DeCanti also takes you on a vivid word tour of the fascinating Lake County, California where she and her husband has lived since 1996.
