La rama seca del cerezo

In 1945, Ichiro and Masuji play in the streets of Hiroshima moments before the atomic bomb is dropped. In modern-day Hiroshima, Sakura, a teenage girl with a deformed hand, must deal with bullying from her classmates and her distant family. Her dream is to become a manga artist, but she knows that will never happen. Her life changes completely when she meets Tetsuo, an elderly man who survived the bombing.
