Are you a bit of a lone wolf, who is stirred into leading through a crisis - like Wolverine? Or do you exhibit the overachieving prowess of a Superman? Or perhaps your experience makes you a bit more of a Father Figure, like the mighty Optimus Prime?
Superheroes play a huge part in popular culture, and beyond. They inspire people and make them aspire to greatness. One reason they seem larger than life is their willingness to sacrifice and their impressive strength of character - which translates into remarkable leadership ability. Lead Like a Superhero goes in depth into the psyche of well-known Comic Book Icons, analyzing their leadership strengths and weaknesses, and what makes them tick. But here is the kicker: it will, through it's one of a kind lens, enable its readers to recognize the superhero leaders around them, or better yet... the one within.
Sebastien Richard's deepest desire for Lead Like a Superhero is that it will inspire a younger generation of leaders to embrace the values modelled by the likes of Superman, Spiderman, or Wonder Woman to better lead their own lives and the lives of those around them. These values are timeless, universal, and they shape the character of the best men and women out there.

"This is a smart, insightful, and oh-so entertaining read! It's a really great mashup of comic book lore, leadership acumen, and inspirational gems. There are some really important lessons taught in Lead Like a Superhero, but they are presented in a tone that is not overly serious and so original. I absolutely loved it!"
Wow what a powerful way to demonstrate leadership using the different traits and styles of our superheros. This book allows for personal discernment as to what skill set you possess when it comes to leadership. Where are you most comfortable and where you might be able to stretch and step into an area of leadership that might be a bit uncomfortable. I can see this book being used by corporation trying to demonstrate how each of us can be a leader and rise to a desired result, as well as, parents reading and stressing with their children the virtue of being able to lead from within and how that shows up in your life. Really a wonderful book, that touches on many key aspects of seeing one's special gifts within.
IF SUPERMAN WERE A BUSINESS LEADER WHAT LEADERSHIP SCORE WOULD HE BE? I've been a CEO in Corporate America for most of my career and loved this book. Imagine using the metaphors of superheros that we all know and love from our youth and defining them as leader profiles...to teach leadership in a fun and authentic way. Sebastien Richard's book is astonishing. Each Superhero is defined with strengths and weaknesses and a score...helping the reader associate their own leadership profile. This is a heroic book for all audiences written by a great thought leader!
