Arduino è una piccola scheda (hardware) di tipo elettronica, dotata di un microcontrollore. Negli ultimi anni Arduino è stato adottato da diversi istituti superiori di secondo grado con indirizzi come: elettrotecnico e perito informatico. Tramite questa piccola scheda, è possibile creare uno sketch, caricarlo tramite USB (cavo azzurro) alla scheda, e infine la scheda procederà ad eseguire tutto ciò che è scritto in quello sketch.
