Live Save Spend Repeat was such an inspiring book fur us women. There were so man things I needed to know and learn and she taught me, and I am putting them into practice. I knew right away that this was the book for me when I saw "most of my life revolved around making money and spending it with no real idea of how much I had or how large a check I was going to write......" wow how true that is for may people and she gives hope and I believe even if you aren't struggling to stay alive day to day there are still things to learn here so...enjoy. I received a copy of this book from the Publisher and Netgalley; all the opinions expressed in this review are all my own.
I really love this book. Kim shows you step by step how to live, save, spend and then repeat. The title is sooo clever and it really shows what the book is about. You can relate to every one of her stories and so you get interested in what she has to say. With this book, you learn how to set up a budget, in different forms, how to find opportunities to save, how the spend wisely and also how to live with a content heart. It is also encouraging if you are thinking of making a project a reality, it shows you how to put your milestones first and get focused to make them work. If you are looking to sort out your finances at home, I truly recommend this book. Its worth is more than the value you will pay.
I really enjoyed the book! Lots of practical, easily implemented budgeting formats to help you do the best you can with your money. By the system Kim sets forth in the book, you can be as detailed or diverse as you want. Having a formula and a list laid out makes things much more practical. I enjoyed her style of writing and her encouragement throughout the book. Some chapters were deeper dives than others, but paving a way to a useable budget and getting finances on track is not an easy prospect. I expected to gain information and some support, but it's like talking with a friend who's been where you are and has your back. Very good perspective for those trying to get in control of their finances and income. Worth a read, for sure! I think I will get a few extra ( when my budget allows ;) to share with friends and those in our church. *I was given an advanced reader's copy from the publisher in exchange for my honest review, and all opinions above are my own.*
