About the Author

USA Today bestselling author Melissa F. Miller is a former attorney who traded the practice of law for the art of telling stories.

She is the author of more than two dozen bestselling legal thrillers, suspense thrillers, romantic comedic mysteries, and forensic thrillers. All her work shares two common threads: pulse-pounding, tightly plotted action and smart, unlikely heroines and heroes.

Her books feature such diverse protagonists as a pint-sized attorney and mother of twins who’s trained in Krav Maga; a Native American government investigator who relies on her heritage to guide her when the chips are down; a Buddhist forensic pathologist who refuses to harm any living creature; and a trio of twenty-something sisters just starting out in their careers who find murder and mayhem wherever they go.

While this is a novella, the plot was well developed and flowed smoothly. It was shorter than I would have liked but it's a good, quick read to give a break between longer works. Definitely worth reading and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Quick read. No need to read others in series to know what's going on. Highly enjoyable.

I was given an eARC of this book with a request that I write an honest review. Rosemary, one of three sisters, is getting married. She decides to have the wedding and the reception at the Resort by the Sea in the fictional city of Seashore, NJ. She disappears from the room where she is being fitted for her wedding gown - and thus begins the mystery. The story is told in the first person by the three sisters -- Rosemary, Sage and Thyme (Parsley is their cat and makes his appearance). I was impressed how the story smoothly went on. Ms Miler did a wonderful job transitioning from sister to sister, and combining some romance, some humor and mystery. I found it difficult to put the book down and kept turning the pages to see what was next.

LOST AND GOWNED: Rosemary's WEDDING. by Melissa F Miller Rosemary getting married, with Sage and Thyme helping. Doing it at the resort, didn't want the debt dogging parents, and is making the wedding cake herself. Even with last minute alterations on dress, but why guy in suit following. When the attire of town was shorts and flip flops.A wedding dress to try on again, sisters wanted to see that it fit better. She's gone, with dress on, thinking she is missing, but can't find. A delightful plot of three sisters, planning a wedding, and this was not on the list. Or did one of the sister plan something . Good plot of what happened, characters were great. You could imagine what was going on, and held to the end of why. Like the summary of the sisters, and what will be coming in the next books. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
