After months of long-distance communication, actress Parker Collins and artist Grayson Lacroux finally plan to reconnect in the seaside town of Wellfleet, Massachusetts. But Parker never shows, and weeks pass without a word, leaving Grayson to believe he’s misinterpreted their budding relationship.

Parker has been running on autopilot ever since she lost her friend, mentor, and the only family she’s ever known, Bert Stein. Armed with junk food, tequila, and her big, lovable dog, she’s prepared to hole up and mourn—and determined to mend a fence Bert had never been able to with his estranged and bitter brother. But Parker didn’t count on the handsome artist she’s been fantasizing about for nearly a year walking in on her grief-induced drunken night.

When Grayson stumbles across Parker, he has no idea what to make of the gorgeous blonde who blew him off despite the chemistry between them. But that doesn’t stop him from feeling protective of the woman who’s consumed his thoughts for months, and when he learns of Parker’s plans to confront an angry old man, he refuses to leave her side. As Parker’s past unfolds, they’re led on an unexpected journey of discovery. Their connection deepens, until good intentions spark painful secrets, threatening the love they’ve found.

I liked this one but it wasn't a story that really stood out to me. This is the ninth book in the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers series but it reads perfectly fine as a stand-alone while readers of the series will enjoy checking in with some of the characters from earlier books. I found this quick and pleasant read and liked the chemistry between the characters. Parker is an actress taking some much needed alone time after the loss of her good friend and mentor. Her friend, Bert, was like family to her and she now feels alone in the world. Grayson is an artist who has been working on a project for Parker for the past several months. Grayson finds Parker drunk and wants to help her put the pieces back together. Add in Parker's adorable dog, Christmas, and things are looking up. I liked Parker and Grayson together and I found their relationship to quite authentic. I thought that they had some great chemistry with each other and connected well from the very start. I really didn't see any obstacles to their relationship and honestly, things went really smoothly with the exception of a quick hiccup at the end of the book. In some ways, I would have like to see a bit more drama between these two characters. This book is narrated by Lucy Rivers and Aiden Snow and it was my first experience with both of their work. I did prefer Aiden Snow's performance in this book and would find that I was a bit disappointed when the narration would change at times. I thought that Lucy Rivers also did a fine job with the story but I found her narration to be somewhat monotonous at times. I do think that a lot of readers will enjoy this one a bit more than I did. I thought that the characters were very well done but I wish that the book had just a bit more drama to hold my attention. I received a copy of this audiobook from the author / publicist.

I'm not surprised that Ms. Cole has hit it out of the park again with this book. What did surprise me was that she was able to take me out of month long book funk with this book! As always with this sweet with heat series the characters are so easy to fall in love with, and I want them in my real life. This book had a few surprises and twists that were refreshing to see thrown into the mix. Grayson is another perfect book boyfriend that all real boyfriends should strive to be. He is caring and compassionate, but still makes mistakes. I had a little more trouble connecting with Parker but loved her no less. Sometimes your life has to be turned upside down to find what your really looking for. I don't think Parker even knew what to look for, but it found her anyway. Ms. Cole sets the bar so high with her books and I always think there is no way she can bet it, but she always does. I can't wait for the next book in this sweet with heat series!

The Seaside series is the best! This retelling of Parker and Grayson's story is so sweet and lovely that you will not want to put it down until the end. Parker Collins is a famous actrees who is having a bad time after loosing a dear friend and mentor. She is in a bad shape. Her foundation is backing a design contract for Grayson's company and they have exchanged several e-mails and messages. Their connection is too strong to miss, but Parker is not in a great place and Grayson does not want anything serious. However, Grayson compassion and understanding means everything to Parker. Their journey is so full of love that you will adore this couple. Despite being famous Parker is not a "diva" and she fits right in with the Seaside gang. This is a lovely sweet story that it is worth reading.

I love Addison Cole. I've been slowly working my way through the Seaside Summers series. This is the fourth book out of the 9 that I've read. Parker Collins is a well known actress, who is dealing with the loss of her mentor, friend, only family she's ever really known. Grayson Lacroux is an iron artist who is doing restoration work for Parker. These two have connected through email and they both felt a connection and when they get together there is more than a connection. The heat between these two is electric. The pages sizzle. Parker was a little hard for me to relate to. She evoked more pity from me than I'd like to feel and had a Cinderella sort of life. Her mother died when she was only a year old and she went through the system as a foster child. She's now trying to deal with grief over the loss of a friend that was the only family she had and trying to connect with this man's brother, who is the grumpiest old man ever. Grayson was perfect. There is absolutely nothing you could say against him. In fact, if I was in the market for a book boyfriend, he'd definitely be in the running. He knew exactly how to show he cared, from helping her through her drunken grieving, to helping her deal with Abe and generally being a great boyfriend. I couldn't quite understand Parker's reaction to the photo of her and Grayson in US magazine and her image. Just as her reaction at the end of the book didn't sit well with me. I could see her needing to be angry Grayson for going behind her back, but I really couldn't grasp why she left. You also get to see all the characters from the past books, who quickly befriended Parker. They felt a little more incidental in this book though, because Parker is really apart from the rest of the crew. I loved the Abe story line. It was easy to see where the story was going toward the end, with Abe's missing daughter. I actually got the idea of where she was headed with the story pretty early on and it really made for a nice HEA for her. This was a great addition to this series. I can't wait for the next book.

An emotional and passionate love story! Lovers at Seaside is the ninth book in the Sweet with Heat series. A well-written book that will keep you entertained from beginning to end. This story is full of passion and plenty of romance. It is so easy to feel a connection to and like all of the characters. When I finish reading the book, I feel that the characters are friends, the next-door neighbor, and even part of my family. Each story in this series, has a new storyline that each one of us can relate to and learn from. I never know what to expect with the antics that the seaside girls come up with in each book. This is a great addition to each book in the series! It definitely adds to the humor in the book. Addison does a great job of intertwining characters from previous books into each book. The story focuses on the main characters but the additional information and previous characters really add to the story and make them all feel connected. Addison Cole does a wonderful job of weaving romance with humor and passion while adding in heartache that ends with the happy-ending that we come to expect. I know when I see her name on a book that it will be an entertaining and enjoyable book that I won’t be able to put down. Addison Cole definitely has a gift for writing spectacular stories! I have not been disappointed with a book yet! Definitely, an author that you will want to keep on the top of your go-to list. If you enjoy reading a sweet romance with a touch of humor, then you will thoroughly enjoy this book and the series. A truly captivating, emotional and heartwarming read.

Addison Cole’s Sweet with Heat Series is one of my favorites, and Lovers at Seaside is a great story. Even though this is the ninth book in the series, it’s a great stand alone read. In this story Parker & Grayson have been exchanging professional emails for a year. Even though everything until now has been strictly professional the romance and chemistry between them is inevitable. This is such a romantic story that even my mom enjoyed it! She is now going back and reading the previous books. Just like me she can’t get enough of this series! This is definitely a story that won’t dissapoint!

Lovers at Seaside is the ninth book in the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers series by Addison Cole. Their friendship started online, but neither knew how the other really felt about them, so it was fun watching them come together. Grayson is just what Parker needs right now, and they are pretty darn cute together too. Abe was a fun addition to the story. I kinda figured where that was heading pretty early on, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. This series was been a great one. It always gives me just the right amount of "Sweet with heat". I can't wait for more! The ARC of Lovers at Seaside by Addison Cole was kindly provided to me by the author for review. The opinions are my own.

Goodness, I already loved this series but there are not enough words to convey my love for Lovers at Seaside! This installment is about actress Parker Collins and metalsmith Grayson Lacroux. When Parker returns to Wellfleet to mourn the loss of her father-figure, Bert, she comes face to face with Grayson, whom she has been exchanging emails with for months about designs for a house. Grayson unexpectedly finds her at the house in Wellfleet during a drunken, horror-movie watching cry-fest, however, the sparks still immediately fly. But with his life in Wellfleet and her life as an actress, there were plenty of obstacles to overcome. Grayson…. What could I possibly say about Grayson to accurately describe how fabulous he is? My new book boyfriend is amazing… Sweet, caring, family guy, smart, creative, talented, dog-lover… What else is there to say? Parker is also fabulous when she is herself, rather than fussing over her appearance and the paparazzi. I loved her emotion and how she wore her heart on her sleeves, much like Grayson. And her love for her sweet dog Christmas just made her even more likable. As typical with this series, Addison Cole continues to grace readers in Lovers at Seaside with all of the ladies from earlier installments, including their communal breakfast moments, chunky-dunking, and envy-worthy friendship. Not only is this novel all about romance and friendship, but also deals with the subject of loss and grief that all of us can relate to. Cole addresses loss and grief realistically and with a sensitivity that is beautiful and moving. Once again, I have nothing but the highest praise for this amazing author and for the incredible seaside stories she continues to bring readers. * I greatly appreciate this ARC in exchange for my honest review!

Another winner in this series. This book gave me all the feels. The last chapter couldn't have been any better in my opinion. It produced happy tears. I loved Grayson. He's definitely top book boyfriend material. The thing I loved most about him is the way he is there for Parker and makes her feel special. I also enjoyed revisiting previous characters in the series. I also like to see how their HEAs are going. Another favorite part of this book is Parker's dog is named Christmas. For a Christmas nut like me it was a highlight of the book. I loved Parker too because the way the being of her life started she cold have become bitter, but she has a heart of gold. She's definitely someone who deserves a HEA.

Lovers at Seaside felt different than some of the other Seaside stories I’ve read but still had the same Seaside vibe and essence written throughout that Addison Cole’s fans have come to love. Parker Collins is a famous actress in town, but fame and glamour are often a glittering facade for the life that lies below the surface. One of the main focuses of this novel is from Parker’s perspective and the way she interacts with Grayson Lacroux and slowly begins to learn to let loose around people who are more interested in who she is as a person rather than what her public persona appears to be. Watching Parker get to know Grayson and slowly letting herself feel free to be her true self was highly enjoyable. Grayson is a strong and incredibly talented man and Parker is a self-made strong, independent, confident woman, at least in the eyes of the public. Together they make an interesting pair and I enjoyed watching Parker become a part of the Seaside gang and the self-discoveries she makes along the way.

perfect poolside/beach read You could never doubt what will be brought to the pages when Addision Cole's takes us on a visit back to Seaside for the Summer. Ever in need of a sweet romance with that bite of heat but not overwheming explicity then you need to pick up the latest in the Sweet with Heat: Seaside Summers. There was a depth of characters both primary and secondary that makes this read feel like more of a entire world. Parker's career as an actress leave little room for real down to earth people to be surrounding her. So when the one person in this world she know beyond a shadow of a doubt loves her dies. Her world becomes even smaller and the reality of things makes there presence known. Shutting out the world can only go so far. Grayson finally has plans to meet the woman he has carried on an online relationship with for the past several month. Only to arrive at planned location and she not show up. Unbeknownst to him she has suffered a set back and her world was no longer level. Confrontation. Time. Togetherness. Passion. Sweet heat that allows things to develop on a different level of togetherness. Parker and Grayson find that they have been apart for longer than they have had the chance to be together. The first chance to connect gets lost in translation. Parker finds herself fighting grief and losing. Grayson finds that he may have misinterpreted the new and grown relationship he thought was heading in a new direction. Once finding each other things take on a new meaning, when it comes to relationships and being close. Secrets come out and tests the bonds the two have come to form. This becomes a perfect poolside/beach read for the upcoming season. Or you could just grab the copy and find a quite corner and enjoy the togetherness of Parker and Grayson. Things are not always as they seem.

I love escaping with the Seaside gang Addison's character adventures in life, love, friendship - everything! She makes you believe in a sweet, true love! I try to keep my bitter, cynical outlook on love but then Addison drops another book that makes me swoon and get all sappy again. Parker is my kind of gal - she loves tequila (this earned her the top spot as my favorite Seaside gal!) and junk food - sounds exactly like me! She closes up during a time of loss and who can blame the girl?! I felt the depth of her pain as it compared to the loss of a my loved one - my younger brother. Grayson is one of those guys who could possibly only exist in a book. He encompasses everything a woman would desire - compassion, understanding, patience - oh, and he's a sexy hunk of an artist. Completely swoon-worthy!! I love the connection that this pair has as I feel it is so much deeper than a physical connection. They rewrote the definition of soulmates! I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

If there was ever a male character to swoon over, it is definitely Grayson! He was absolutely fabulous, everything you could want in a partner. He was supportive, protective, caring, gentle, knew what Parker needed even without words, and very loving. This book will pull on your heart strings and make you cry along with Parker. All the emotional struggles she was going through at one time was heart breaking. But I loved how real she was and could be with Grayson. They were a great couple and had the sweetest ending! I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the publisher through Netgalley.

Oh, this book has all the slobbery dog kiss feels and I loved every minute of it! Parker and Grayson's email relationship was adorable, but when they finally meet the lovely Parker decides to stand up Grayson. He finds her all heartbroken in her home at Seaside after the death of a very dear friend. This is a story of being there for the one you care about no matter what. Their love is fun and genuine and they may be my favorite, but we will see there are a lot of other couples in this series I need to get to know!

Rating: 4.5 Stars Parker Collins and I have a couple of things in common and that’s just in the first paragraph. Full disclosure, that doesn’t include her choice of films. She also made me laugh – it can’t get much better, or can it? Grayson Lacroux has his hands full. But I get the impression that’s something he doesn’t mind. Our author created a secondary character that just had something about him. In no way was my grandfather like him but as I first meet this character, I hear and visualize my grandfather every time he makes an appearance. It gave me a good chuckle and I bet my grandfather would chuckle too. At one point in the story our couple is having a very frank discussion. It may leave you thinking about life and maybe even about friends and family – both good and bad. It may even have you thinking about service to others. Some people can’t always give money but there are plenty of other ways to serve. As I was reading I could feel the warm sand between my toes, the nice breeze coming off the water, and I could faintly hear the characters as they enjoy each other and the scenery. They’ve become a great group of friends that I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know. If you love a story where you get to see the definition of Romantic play out then make sure that you have a copy of this book. I’d say that Grayson would be the perfect book boyfriend but he’s all Parker’s and he lets you know that. What I loved was how the author took a completely romantic moment and made me laugh. And if I laughed… Then I let out a silent cheer when I see the great present the author leaves at the end. I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own. Rating: 4.5 Stars

I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Grayson Lacroux. I was so excited when he and his brother Hunter won the sculpture contest and a two year contract with Parker Collins's foundation. I was hoping for a book about that two year period but Addison Cole has given me something so much better than I could have hoped for. Grayson and Parker are working closely together because of the two year contract but most of the contact is over email. Without really saying anything to the other, both are starting to feel a connection. Then, Grayson finds Parker in her Wellfleet house and drunk off her butt. Grayson went through alcohol issues with his father and is not looking to go through them with Parker. He, then, realizes this was a one off as far as Parker is concerned. The two of them get closer and closer but where they end up, you'll have to pick up a copy of Lovers at Seaside to find out.    I received this book through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Have you ever started a book and known from the very first pages that this couple MUST be together? That is what I felt when Grayson walks in on Parker in a candy eating, watching a scary movie, and getting drunk. There is no judgment, no harsh words, just concern, understanding, and acceptance. He is the forever gentleman taking care of this woman that he only knows through emails in a time when she is so alone. SIGH… what an amazing man. I loved the Bert and Abe storyline. Bert, the man Parker thought of as a father, knew exactly what he was doing by leading Parker to Abe. While Abe is a mean, crabby, old man he opens his heart to Parker and Grayson. Abe’s death leads to a happily ever after for Parker which is exactly what she deserved. I love that Grayson was with her every step of the way. Addison Cole is talented in her writing. She has a knack for her wonderful seaside settings, amazing characters, and sweet storylines. The settings are described in such detail that they are easy to picture, making the reader feel as if they are there with the characters. The characters are fun, sweet, and real. They end up being friends of the reader while taking the reader on their amazing life journeys. And the storylines…oh so sweet. The attention to the little details pull the reader right into the book and never let them go. Even when the last word is read I continue to think about their story and wonder what will happen next in this series. I am a HUGE fan of the Sweet with Heat series and am always excited when another book is being released. With each book I get to know new characters, catch up with some old favorites, and revisit some of my favorite book places.

Grayson is a metal artist while Parker is a famous actress. Grayson and his brother Hunter (from Embraced at Seaside) won a contest sponsored by Parker’s Foundation, and now Grayson is travelling across the country, designing metal projects at each of her Foundation’s locations. Grayson sends Parker his design ideas and she approves each one. However, she finds herself attracted to his thought process and their email conversations so she asks for lots of changes to prolong their communication. Grayson begins to feel very close to Parker, and he is looking forward to meeting her in person to see if his feelings are real or just from the design process. Grayson is home and decides to bring his design for the stair railing to her house there so she can review them. He is unaware that Parker is there, and she’s in the midst of a drunken celebration of her mentor’s life who also acted as her friend and father. She is in the depths of candy, tequila, sweats, horror movies and despair. Her lovable dog Christmas by her side, she’s a mess! Grayson takes charge and their journey truly begins. I loved this book! The difficult process of trusting another person completely, learning how to be your true self, making new friends and moving on with life no matter what is thrown at you are all dealt with herein. Along the way, there’s spicy heat, anticipation, lots of laughter, tears and hugs. This is one you don’t want to miss! I was provided with an ARC of this book and I am providing my honest review. I have received no compensation of any kind from any source for this review.

I enjoyed this story, and seeing how actress Parker Collins & Grayson Lacroux who is an artist come together. They had started a friendship & had made plans to meet but Parker never showed up. She was dealing with the loss of Bert Stein, who was her mentor, friend & like family to her. She was grieving the loss. Grayson doesn't know what to do with Parker when he runs into her, after she didn't show up for their meeting. But they communicated and he helped her deal with her loss & life as she discovers things about her past & family that she didn't know before. I loved this story & these characters.

Lovers at Seaside is a sweet addition to the Seaside series. The book full of passion. I enjoyed the characters. Grayson is a wonderful book boyfriend. He's caring, supportive, and willing to take charge. Without him, Parker may not have the courage to do some of the harder tasks that came about after Bert passed away. Grayson is there to help encourage Parker to step out of her comfort zone. Parker is a rule follower. She's very much a good girl. She cares about her image to avoid negative press. Being an actress in the public eye can be challenging and stressful. I could tell Parker cares about other people. She dedicated herself to seek out Bert's brother, Abe, after Bert passed away. There were times I wanted to shake Parker because she was more concerned about what others would see rather than doing what she truly wanted. Sometimes it seems like Parker is living in a role of America's Sweetheart and not her actual life. I did find myself wishing that more would have been mentioned about Bert or more interaction with Abe. One of the major parts of the plot was about them, yet they weren't in the story much. Overall, I loved seeing how the characters grow, especially Parker, and the surprises they learn about throughout the book. I received this book as an Advance Reader's Copy. I volunteered to leave my review. All opinions are my own.

LOVERS AT SEASIDE by Addison Cole. This is an endearing story that had me laughing, crying and feeling all the feels that make up a wonderful tale. Parker and Grayson are two of my favorite characters. Parker, an actress, is struggling with the passing of a dear friend. Grayson, being a super Hero, is there for her, once she lets him in. Ms. Cole has captured my heart in this one. The journey these two partake in to reach their HEA, is filled with so much emotion - both sad and happy - that I was so sad when the book ended. I truly wanted it to go on and on so I could live out their story with them. I found I became so involved - I laughed out loud and cried with them too. Ms. Cole has succeeded in writing a sweet heat tale that, while it's sweet, it still holds the heat that makes me swoon and feel the need to break out a fan! I highly recommend, not only this adoring tale, but the other books in the series too (Although I believe they can all.

“I’m here now, and I want to get to know you better and be here for you. If you’ll let me.” Parker “Pollie” Collins is an A-listed beautiful actress that is used to having a low profile, well organized and rarely takes time off from work. She has a foundation for Children undergoing renovations and she hired the talented, handsome sexy artist Grayson Lacroux. For over 10 months they develop a close friendship thru their constant emails and something more is coming out when they finally meet. Parker is a mess and for the first time of his life Grayson wants more out of a woman and he sets his mind on being there for her. What will happen when they finally come clashing together with all the needs and urges they kept buried deep inside for all those months? When this comfy and nice budding relationship is hit by the reality of their regular life, hectic schedule and travels? I loved seeing the Seaside girl coming together, united once again to help each other out !

This was the story of Parker and Grayson. Parker is a famous actress who has come to Wellfleet to mourn the loss of her friend Bert without the worry of the paparazzi following her everywhere. Grayson is an iron worker. He creates amazing works out art out of metal, and he’s currently working with Parker on several projects. One of them is railing he’s creating in Parker’s house. He stops by one day after finding out she’s in town to get her opinion on some ideas. Grayson has never actually met Parker in person. They’ve had all their interactions via email. When he finds Parker, she is drowning her sorrows in chocolate and tequila. Not one of her finer moments, but Grayson steps up and takes care of her, and he continues to take care of her over the next few weeks. I loved this story. It was one of my favorites. This story brings so many feelings and emotions into play. There’s just enough heat to bring a blush to your cheeks, but this particular story has so much emotion in it, that you want to keep flipping the pages to find out what will happen next! This story had me laughing with the humorous comments, tearing up at the beautiful connections with Bert and Abe, and smiling with the love between not only Parker and Grayson, but all the friends and family of Seaside. I look forward to reading more of these stories! I received and ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review.
