The storyline was good involving Amelia, a fiesty yet sweet heroine and Bryon, a good hero. I enjoyed the storyline and the HEA ending of the story. Little Jeremy was cute and Simon was delightful. Great ending to the story. ****vrnb****

I very much enjoyed this short, positive story. I do wish it had been a full length novel.

Sweet romance with HEA where Amelia (almost like Cinderella, but working for her absent father and stepmother babysitting her half-brother and never getting out of the house) surprises herself by answering an ad for a mail-order bride. Byron, a small town sheriff, placed the ad hoping to end his loneliness in a small town with few women and that his descent income that would now support a family. He has an unusual pet and is a great guy. Two people who should have been snapped up long before, but were mostly unavailable due to various circumstances. She wants out of her father's home and to start a new life and takes a chance. Although this is only about 40 pages, it sure packs in a complete story. Although I could see further adventures for them and her dad too. A captivating story-line and quick, delightful read.
