This is a true World War II personal memoir, recounting civilian life in Germany and a life journey that later led through Africa and America. As life moves forward, everything we own will lose its meaning one day. The only thing that truly stays with us is the memories we create. I wrote this book to honor the memory of my friend Ron Nash.
