About the Author
Mr. Brann has served in many leadership positions at the city, county and state levels. Among these positions are President of the Division Ave. Business Association, 9 year board member Michigan Restaurant Association, Grand Rapids Community College Advisory Board for the culinary division, Wyoming-Kentwood Chamber of Commerce, Chair of Godwin Heights Advisory Committee, Chair of 2000 Wyoming Census, Gateway Project innovator, Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce tax advisory committee, and current Vice President of Wyoming EDC economic development corporation.
He has received many awards and commendations: a black belt in Karate, Grand Rapids Community College Culinary Hall of Fame recipient, Wyoming-Kentwood Chamber Gerald E. Fessell Distinguished Service Award, Michigan Restaurant Association distinguished service award recipient, 12-gallon blood donor, and a Specialist in the Michigan Volunteer Defense Force.
Now CEO of Brann's Steakhouse and Sports Grille, he remains involved in all aspects of the restaurant business. He lives and works in Wyoming, Michigan with his wife Sue.
