Cute read but this series must have been written for junior high school girls. Not a hint of romance. This is the third book and they still call each other by their surname. My biggest complaint is no character development. What kind of police department has one officer, no chief, but has a detective??

The author brings you in as a new comment. Gradually you become a part of the town as she does. I feel at home, brought alive by the day to day happenings and the occasion murder. Throw in a wisp of romantic tention and good food and coffee and...boom

I read Marigold's Murder last week, and since have read all the books in the series. I love the Port Danby Mysteries. If you love mysteries check this series out. You won't be able to put it down.
