I really enjoyed Wolf Moon. It was intriguing and absorbing. The Second one was ok, but I thought that it could have been developed more. There was more to the story than we got to read. Blood on the Moon was another hit. I really liked it, suspenseful enough to keep you turning the page. The last was a good spin on the Beauty and the Beast, I really liked it.

¿Wolf Moon¿ by Nora Roberts. Simone hikes Italian mountains when a feral beast bites her. Eleven years later in Maine, recluse Simone takes her canine to her vet only to find out that his nephew Gabe has taken over the practice. She knows he is her mate, but retreats to her isolated home before he realizes the truth about her............................ ¿Moon Winter¿ by Jill Gregory. Sorceress Ondrea the Terrible places an evil spell on Queen Lise. Her sister Princess Gwynna needs to travel to the Valley of Org where the sorceress lives to find a counter-spell. Only her family enemy Keir of Blackthorne has successfully ventured in and out of Org. She needs him as a guide, but would he risk his life for his enemy?................... ¿Blood on the Moon¿ by Ruth Ryan Langan. Laird Rothwick¿s brutal warriors kill and rape Highlanders, leaving behind many orphaned children. Alana Lament provides a home to the orphans while only the Dark Angel defies Rothwick. In a final confrontation with Rothwick¿s minion, the Dark Angel needs special help against an invincible foe.................. ¿West of the Moon¿ by Marianne Willman. Phoebe Sutton heads to Thorne Court when she reaches a fork. As the faerie know if she chooses the wrong path she will die. Arriving at her destination she meets her childhood companion Gordon Tremaine who she believes is the ugliest man on the planet. She is the only person who can save him, but free will can lead to danger and love.......................... These four romantic speculative fiction stories are prime tales from this talented quartet. They hook the audience from the first novella until the last......................... Harriet Klausner

The best story in the four is Nora Roberts' werewolf meets a vet story. They're all romances with a paranormal/magical element and quite readable. Simone fulfils a lifetime ambition by trekking in Italy but her holiday turns into a nightmare when she's bitten by a wolf. She spends her time trying to find a solution to her problem and avoiding notice. When she meets the new vet Gabe Kirby she finds herself torn because she finds herself attracted to him, but she doesn't want him to have to deal with her problem, one person is enough and that person is her. However he's persistent.Jill Gregory's story Moon Witch is a pretty typical quest story and in another anthology would have shone better. Gwynna goes to an old enemy of her people to get help to defeat their common enemy. He finds her attractive but doubts her motives.Ruth Ryan Langan's Blood on the Moon is a story of pseudo-Scotland and a laird trying to kill all around him to get as much of his neighbours lands for himself, the one remaining bastion and a man who has been living wild fighting him come together to fight him.The Last story, Marianne Willman's West of the Moon is a 18th century story of Faerie, the second best story in the collection and quite a nice story actually. I enjoyed it a lot and found the main character Phoebe to be an enjoyable character.
