About the Author

Bestselling author Sariah Wilson has never jumped out of an airplane or climbed Mount Everest, and she is not a former CIA operative. She is, however, madly, passionately in love with her soul mate and is a fervent believer in happily ever afters—which is why she writes romances like the Royals of Monterra series. After growing up in Southern California as the oldest of nine (yes, nine) children, she graduated from Brigham Young University with a semi-useless degree in history. The author of #Starstruck, she currently lives with the aforementioned soul mate and their four children in Utah, along with three tiger barb fish, a cat named Tiger, and a recently departed hamster who is buried in the backyard (and has nothing at all to do with tigers). #MOONSTRUCK is another sweet romance in this series between a celebrity, this time a pop singer, and a regular gal. The story is full of sibling camaraderie, a fun group of band characters, music, some heartache, and a romance with plenty of chemistry. An overall enjoyable romance with a little sizzle and a sweet happily-ever-after. I adored Maisy and her brothers! They are so much fun! I loved all the teasing and joking around. They're a tight group. Maisy's friend was also a riot! I loved how Maisy runs into Ryan and how they're so at odds, but there's serious romantic tension. Like the previous story, there is a ton of chemistry that you can feel between these two. I loved how Ryan's and Maisy's relationship develops and how Ryan soon is accepted by Maisy's brothers. Ryan was such a great character! Talented, gorgeous, down-to-earth, but has a softer more vulnerable side as well. I also appreciated how the social media and paparazzi felt fairly authentic, both the good and bad. Maisy has a pretty big jaded view of musicians, even though she and her brothers are musicians and trying to make it big. It made a lot of sense how she was so wary of Ryan. I did have some issues with how dramatic she is at some points and some of the reactions she has. She came off just a little overdone and immature. I also thought her continual avoidance of her feelings got a little old. Thank goodness she redeems herself in the end and Ryan is such an awesome guy. In the end, was it what I wished for? I enjoyed reading this and am looking forward to more in this series! If you're looking for some sweet romance with a little heat and fun characters, give this one a go. Content: Some references and innuendo, but overall clean. Source: I received a complimentary copy through NetGalley, which did not require a positive review nor affect it in any way.

A story between a pop star Ryan and the lead singer from rock band Maisy. After meeting Ryan Maisys life changes one hundred percent. Suddenly she and the band are the opening act for a famous singer. And suddenly she is Ryan fake girlfriend. But attraction is from the start very strong and the more time they spend together the stronger it becomes and suddenly fake becomes real. But Maisy has a lot of daddy issues and are the reason that their story fell apart. A great cute story, Maisy is a girl whit so many complex and issues and I was so happy when she started working on them. I liked that it was an unexpected story with a twist that I didn't see it coming. Rayan was also a great guy who was trying to prove his love and devotion to Maisy but had to climb more than a few obstacles. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly.

I’m on the fence so I’m going with 3.5 Stars. This was going pretty well for me. It’s a sweet PG story between two musicians, but then there was a kerfuffle with an ex and it got shot to hell for me. I got super irritated with Maisy and how she reacted towards said kerfuffle. But up until that part, it was a pretty good story. There’s no epilogue so I felt the ending just kinda happened super fast.

I am absolutely blown away by Moonstruck! This book is not a cheesy romantic piece of fluff which I ocasionally enjoy. Instead, Sariah Wilson has capitalized on a plot with a complex story about relationships. She also shows through her story telling that sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone in order to take a chance on happiness. Happily ever after is never guaranteed when you risk your heart but the rewards can be lasting love!

Ryan is a pop star who has it all, but when he meets Maisy ... he is mezmorized. Maisy is in a struggling band with her brothers and just wants to make a living doing what she loves ... making music. Even though Maisy hates everything Ryan stands for in the music industry, she can't help the overwhelming feelings she has for him. So when her band ends up going on tour as Ryan's opening act, Ryan asks her to be his fake girlfriend to help clean up his image. The premise of this book was good and it started out really good. But it became quite tiresome about how Maisy kept saying how good looking Ryan was ... I got that the first 10 times she said it. It seemed to me that she felt (all the way through the book) that she wasn't good enough for Ryan. It also would have been nice to have Ryan's POV ... at least a little bit of what was going through his head. This is just my opinion, because I see that lots of people have rated it 4 and 5 stars ... everyone has different opinions. I received an ARC courtesy of Montlake Romance through NetGalley in exchange for a honest review.

4.5 Stars! New to me author Sariah Wilson, has written an exciting and absorbing novel with #Moonstruck, the second book from her #Lovestruck series. It is a riveting read, replete with a meaningful plot, realistic characters and a clean romance. This story is about pop star Ryan De Luna, a very good looking and talented singer. Ryan is a very kind and generous man, even though the media promulgates a completely opposite identity. He gives an up and coming band a chance at stardom, and that is how he begins a relationship with Maisy Harrison, the lead singer of the band Yesterday. Maisy and her brothers live quite frugally, in order to pay for their mother's medical care. In addition to playing together in a rock band, they each hold other jobs in order to make ends meet. Maisy is a hairdresser, but prefers to be writing music and performing. Although she is a musician, she has no desire to be romantically involved with one. However, touring with Ryan changes her mantra, and the sexual chemistry that they share is hard to ignore. Maisy is not a groupie and her feelings Ryan are quite real. Ryan feels blessed that Maisy likes him for him, not just for his celebrity. Although I prefer my books with a dose or two of spice, this book's captivating story made up for it. Ryan's kindness was unbelievable, especially given his pop status and the way he is portrayed by the media. I liked them both as individuals and a couple. Maisy's brothers are cool, and I am hopeful that Ms. Wilson will tell their stories as well. Overall, this is a sweet romance that will keep you engaged from beginning to end. What a delightful book!!! I absolutely loved it! Maisy is a young musician whose absent father is also a musician. As a result, she has made a cardinal rule for herself: never date a musician. Then she meets Ryan, a popular pop star, and begins a fake relationship with him to help his publicity. But then it started to feel real.... I loved the characters and their relationships. The author made me feel invested in them and their story, wanted them to have a HEA ending. I was completely engaged in this novel, so much so that I found myself turning pages just as quickly as possible. This is an adult novel, however, there is no cursing or explicit situations, so you could feel comfortable having your teen read it. This is a must read for fans of the genre. The author is on my must read authors' list.
