Set in Derry, and amongst the Irish diaspora in Europe, Morning and Afternoon explore the enduring bonds of childhood, and the human yearning for love and family. The lives of two very different men fatefully reconnect, and a problematic childbirth may create new possibilities for love. Visceral and touching, these acclaimed, subtly interlocking plays unveil intensely personal stories, underpinned by the social and political circumstances of Ireland's recent past, and glisten with moments of unexpected tenderness.
