Matthew's parents are divorced, so his family is much larger than it once was. He describes the family he lives with, his stepfamily, his grandparents, and even his adopted cousin. The computer-designed graphics show the "grown-up" version of his drawing for school and illustrate each family member as Matthew describes who they are and why they are a part of his family. ... The child will easily understand the content in the book. The book will be especially helpful in teaching children about some differences between families, such as different numbers of siblings, differences if parents are divorced or not, why a child is related to an aunt or uncle, and so forth.
