Brittney Brackett is an accomplished actor, children's book author, professional voice talent, and nonprofit champion with more than 17 years experience helping children and teens flourish personally, scholastically, and emotionally. She is operations manager of her production company, b dynamic! Productions, with more than 15 years in the entertainment business. Her past clients include Deloitte, McAlister's Deli, Tyler Perry Studios, The Alzheimer's Association, The American Cancer Society, The Global Leadership Summit, Denny's, The North Carolina Education Lottery, and many others. She has been the subject of numerous articles in Greenville Business Magazine, Upstate Business Journal, SHEEN Magazine, Voyage ATL, In South Magazine, The Community Informer and The Greenville News. She is the founder of The Outstanding Youth Awards Initiative (OYA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and has awarded more than $4,125 in scholarships and internships. The group has orchestrated more than 8 service projects and hosted financial literacy and empowerment workshops for youth and teens. In 2022, OYA was awarded a project grant from Senator Karl B. Allen and the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to publish this educational book, produce a teen podcast, and design Kindred Kids Clothing, a children's affirmation clothing line. Brittney holds a BA in health marketing and communication from Ashford University, along with numerous counseling certifications and professional affiliations. Illustrator Brooks Brackett is a South Carolina native who was raised to appreciate the simpler things in life, challenged to seek new perspectives, and inspired to harvest creativity from all angles. From being an avid cartoon watcher, he grew from being a talented self-taught illustrator to becoming a trained professional designer. After earning a BA in graphic design from The Art Institute of Charlotte, Brooks took his refined talents back to Greenville, South Carolina, where he collected over a decade of experience with Redhype Marketing and Brains on Fire. Over the years, he has had the opportunity to work with both large and small clients in various industries ranging from the Carolina Panthers, actor and Academy Award Winning director Jordan Peele and Hello Bello to branding local startups and nonprofits. With a curious and ever-changing workflow, he routinely feeds his craving for knowledge to make better products and tell better stories through the media of illustration and design.
