Chapter OneI like to snooze with Daddy. It's fun to take a nap. We go to such amazing places, While I sit upon his lap.
Sometimes we take a cowboy nap, It seems a little strange. With cows and horses all around, I ride the open range.
On Sundays we take an astronaut nap And soar among the stars. We fly around the galaxy, And come home by way of Mars.
In the summer we take an outside nap, On a blanket, in the sand. My surfboard slices through blue ocean, I feel the water on my hand.
Sometimes, when Daddy's really tired, He makes a real, loud snore. I dream I'm sharing with a bear, Who asks for more and more.
Then, sometimes, in the spring, I dream that I can fly I float above the trees and homes Like a kite up in the sky.
When we take a long road trip, Mommy likes to drive. I nap in my car seat And the highway comes alive.
Once, while riding on a train, I had a wonderful dream. We traveled through a candy forest And crossed a chocolate stream
I had another dream, one time, While napping with my Dad. We were going fast, on his new bike. What an awesome ride we had.
Of all the places our napping takes us, The one I like the best, Is snoozing on our sofa, While I lie on Daddy's chest.
