About the Author

Gloria Stiger Linkey has been telling the tales of Sacagawea, Watkuese and Marie Dorion for the past five years. She is a sought-after speaker for groups ranging from elementary schools to the American Associate of University Women. An active member of the Pacific Northwest Living Historians, Gloria continually seeks to spread the word about the vital role Native American women played in the exploration and settlement of the Pacific Northwest. This book tells of the journeys all three women made across the United States. Without the wisdom these three women acquired, much of our history would be written differently.
