Forget Fa-la-la-la Lifetime and say hello to Naughty Nicks Stripper service. I have read a few of Christine's book before, and they always had a BDSM theme. I was interested in what she would do with a more vanilla spin on romance, especially a christmas story. Right now, this moment, it is going to really hard to top this Christmas story for me. It was brilliant. I already know that Christine is a great writer. But I actually connected to all the characters in this book moreso than any of the other stories of hers I had read. I think maybe because I used to be Kim. I was never as fit or plucky as Kim, but I always had that mind set at around the same age before I had my daughter. I fell in love! Like I fell in love with Kim, I feel in love with her friends we met, I fell in love with Blake, and then fell in love with all the Naughty Santa strippers. The story has a blend of just about everything. I am feeling the holiday cheer hard core this year. When Kim was watching White Christmas (my mom and I know this movie by heart and all the choreography lol) I was so done. Done in a good way. Done like cook me up and call me ready, done! It was Christmas themed perfect, it had the right amount of smexy, and boy could Christine build some tension! I was like shaking my kindle screaming "F**k ALREADY!" lol If you are looking for a holiday read, that will sate any romance readers palette then pick up a copy of this book! You won't regret it! *I received a copy of this book from Carina Press via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*
