Saving her from her curse is a gentleman's job. This werewolf, however, is no gentleman.

A Mythical Knights Holiday Story

Ruthie, cursed by a djinn, has been trapped in a recipe box for seventy-five years, and this Christmas is her last chance to break the curse. She assumes when Lee Reynolds opens the box, he will help her escape the djinn's magic.

Because that's what a gentleman does.

She learns very quickly, though, that Lee is no gentleman.

Unlike the Drigan werewolves, Lee is tormented by his wolf-side. Nightmares plague him, leaving him barely civilized most days. It takes all his control to work as a sous chef, but cooking is really the only thing that has ever soothed him.

Then Ruthie pops out of his grandmother's recipe box.

And his wolf side becomes positively beastly.

About the Author

USA Today and NY Times bestselling author Candice Gilmer leads a dangerous double life as a mommy and a writer. In between boo-boo healing and fixing broken toys, she writes stories usually to the tune of children’s television shows.

Growing up in the Midwest, Candice stays close to her family, especially the ones with basements when the tornadoes come around.

All in all, she stays very busy, but really, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Well, maybe a little less children’s television.

NOT A GENTLEMAN’S CHRISTMAS {A MYTHICAL KNIGHTS HOLIDAY STORY} A CAPTIVATING ROMANTIC STORY; The story focuses on; RUTHIE, a curvy, proper, blue-eyed beauty who lived during the depression; Lee, a heart-stirring gorgeous chef, and werewolf shifter, and Ruthie’s best friend’s grandchild. What you’ll find in this story; a cast of impressive and engaging characters, fabulous creative story-line, powerful scene descriptions, superb banter, family issues, heart-rending moments, spiraling emotions, magical moments, intriguing, sky rocketing passionate romance, and a heart-warming conclusion that leaves you smiling and wanting more. Seventy-five years ago, Ruthie and her best friend Evelyn made wishes to Malik a djinn. Ruthie’s wish was to remember recipes, but her wish landed her the prisoner of her friend’s recipe box. Lee wants to use a few of his grandmother's recipes in preparing this year’s Christmas dinner. His sister gives him grandma's cookbook, and the old recipe box. When he opens the box to his shocked surprise Ruthie appears in front of him. Ruthie needs help escaping the box, she asks Lee to help her; if he does not she will forever be trapped in the box. SPECTACULAR wonderful fast paced well written holiday read by a truly gifted author. I loved this story; as it was sweet with just right touch of drama to hold your attention, a most gratifying read. The interactions between the characters is believable as they spring to life with fabulous dialogue, humor and fantastic plot. Lee certainly is no gentleman, but his devotion to Ruthie shines like a beacon. Steamy romance sets the pages ablaze. If you treasure shifter romance this is a wonderful book for your library. {I was gifted this book and this is my completely honest review}. In the world of shifter romance the possibilities are endless and always fascinating. Without reservation I recommend this book
