Each time, you get a chance to read a great novel but very rarely do you get to read such a brilliantly crafted novel as Sidney Sheldon's masterpiece, NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. This is a book you simply can't put down. It features some unforgettable characters, each with a problem in life, each with a goal in mind. All books, even the great ones vanish from our minds when we come to the real world. But NOTHING LASTS FOREVER sticks with you even after the journey. This is the absolute embodiment of perfection and I recommend it to any frequent reader. Outstanding!!!!

I haven't read a Sidney Sheldon book in years; this book was great. I couldn't put it down--finished it in a couple days. I was happy with the ending.

This was the 9th book I've read of Sidney Sheldon's. One of his best! The characters were wonderful... the only bad thing is, after reading Sidney Sheldon's novels, I find myself getting too bored with my other books!!!! I read this book in 2 days, and for me (mother of a 4-year old) that's SUPER QUICK... couldn't believe I finished it that fast. I found this book very emotional since the topic is the medical field. I laughed, cried, and was very thrilled with the ending. CHECK THIS ONE OUT.

It was the first fiction that I read longgg time ago. I finished it in a couple days and that's why it kept me reading fictions from that day on. If I picked the wrong book in the first place I wouldn't be reading anything now. Thanks to my friend who gave me this book to read and I have given this book to other 3 person . They love it too !

I am not the type of person that reads the whole book at one time or likely to finish it if its not interesting. But for this book I finished it in one day. It's great reading books that shows the greatness of womens then the credits we are given. I love this book and read it more that just once. once you start reading this book you can't put it down. The different life sytle of each character can be related to other people.

Like all Sheldon novels, this is an engrossing novel in which you start reading it, and then you can't put it down. Also like all of his novels, it is a soap opera type feel to it, like an 80's drama. There is action, love, lust, and betrayal.

This book whisks the reader from the life-and-death decisions of an operating room to the involvement of a murder. Sidney is a master of the unexpected.

Saw this recommended on a thread here and thought it mght be interesting. BLAH. I'm quite sure this may have been made into a TV movie at some point as it seemed very familiar, or maybe it was just the formula. Just not enough substance to it to make it worthwhile. And what's with the 50-cent tour. Either write well enough to make me feel I'm in San Francisco, or leave it alone. But don't take me on these constant cheap tour bus rides as an alternative.

well, this was my first novel of sidney sheldon. it is the story of three ladies to be precise 3 doctors about their lives, their good and bad experiences during their work. A typical movie material and i am sure Bollywood must have this theme in many films. But still i like the character named paige.

My least favorite so far out of the books I have read so far by Mr. Sheldon. It took until almost the end of the book to get going. Not typical of the exciting writing of some of his others where you are gripping the book from page 1 until the end.

If I had to choose one of his books to call my utmost favorite I would have to say this one. Again and again he did. He delivered a fast paced keep you on the tip of your toes turning the pages as fast as you can story. Every single one of the lady doctors in this story captured me and held me in prison locked up in their strengths, heartaches, and abilities. This story was like no other that he wrote before. With every page you turned there was so much more going on. The drama, the affairs, the lies, the love.... to no end.. I loved those women doctors especially during a time that women were not allowed to be doctors and they succeeded. The ending I was not expecting. I was so surprised that the strongest one of them all (the one that I thought was the strongest) ended up dead. And to top it off the way she died! I screamed when I got to that part of the story (Ill save it for you to read) She was the least that I expected and that is what made this story different from his others because sometimes Sheldon can be so predictable. Nothing really does last forever, good or bad.
