Nuclear Ashes (Life After War Series #3) by Angela White

It's been 6 months since the end of the world, and Adrian will now discover if the choices he's made have cost him a son. Even Angie can't be sure. Neither can the others like her who he's been gathering. The abilities of the descendants are growing, and so is Safe Haven's awareness of having magic in their midst. Angela is no longer the only seerin camp... if she ever was.
On the way to Arkansas, the battered refugees face a more dangerous threat than even the Slavers. Furious at the latest bloodshed, Mother Nature has declared her own war on the survivors, and she repeatedly unleashes her fury against Safe Haven and its army of violent defenders. The apocalypse has never been more lethal as the aftermath continues to take its toll on what remains of the great American herd.

I just started reading this series about five days ago and immediately feel in love with it. I've been reading non stop and was thrilled when I finished Adrians Eagles the same day From the Ashes came out.The characters have had a long journey so far and still have a long way to go. This apocalyptic series is one of the best I have read in a while. You'll get hooked by the characters and the battles they go through to stay alive. It's a must read. Can't wait to see where Safe Have will go next.

I read all of these books in this series and was waiting for this one and was totally lost most of the book because they were talking about things that were never brought up in the book and it felt very rushed and garbled together. I was hoping and looking forward to following up on the story line that ended in the last book instead it started leaving me saying "Huh" when did that happen because everything that was being talked about in the book was never told to the reader! I won't read anymore of her books since they were difficult enough to begin with and then it got worse!

Can't see it on iPad or phone. Even the Nook is small even on the largest setting font. Can't pinch or expand. Get the large print version... Might be easier to read. I complained about not being able to change the font. There's been no help on it whatsoever. Really disappointed. Having to read via the website works, but if the net goes down even for a second, you're back to page 1, which is dumb. Surprised the recent update didn't fix this!

I am anxiously awaiting the next book. This was a good read, however too much attention was paid to sex. This author needs to get on with the story instead of trying to develop already well-defined characters.

Just started reading this one, the rest of the series is great! However I'm having trouble with this ebook. For some reason the text is small, and when I say small I really mean small. I've tried the usual way to enlarge it but nothing happens. Does anyone here know anything to help me out?

Extra large print version my foot! Font is a joke, even with the font on my Nook at its largest setting the print is TINY. Can not read this book want my money back.  RIP off.

the book & story itself were great, however.......the epublisher did a GOD aweful job of doing their job. I've had no issues with any other book I've read, downloaded from B&N except for this book. I could only get to turn the page after about a 5-10 second delay. there were times when I've had to shut the NOOK off and restart as the book would freeze up and the nook be non-responsive and that only made the nook work again. I would still be unable to turn pages and there were times when the ebook would shut itself down & the NOOK go back to the Homescreen. Just to be sure it wasn't my NOOK, I'd start another (different) ebook and it turns out that other book would work and the nook behave like it was supposed to, pages turned w/out delay, the NOOK was very responsive. So all in all, the epublisher wrote some bad code. As stated, the story was good and the author did another great job of telling a story, but if/when I buy the next book in the series and the same thing happens, I'll discontinue this series in a heartbeat!!
