Laetitia Thollot es una autora franco-mexicana. Nacida en Lyon, estudió letras hispánicas y filosofía antes de trasladarse a México. Es apasionada de ciencia ficción y lectora de autores como H.G. Wells, Jack Vance y Greg Egan.

En 2019 obtuvo el Premio Gran Angular con la novela de ciencia ficción dirigida a jóvenes El mundo después. Ese mismo año obtuvo el segundo lugar en el 4º Concurso de Cuento Infantil y Juvenil Porrúa 2019 con la novela Xylo, el náufrago, una distopía sobre el tema de la migración. En 2021 salió su novela Ozono, una ficción climática dirigida a niños desde los 12 años. En 2022, su texto de teatro en francés Chair de Poulpe fue elegido como parte de la Selección de Textos Dramáticos para Jóvenes de Textes en Paroles para ser representado y publicado. En 2023 publicó No soy robot con la editorial Montena – Random House, una novela de ciencia ficción para mayores de 9 años. En 2023 obtuvo el VII Certamen Internacional de Literatura Infantil y Juvenil FOEM 2023, por su novela La hidra de una sola cabeza. En 2024 publicó la novela Octópolis, una ficción protagonizada por pulpos, destinada a niños a partir de los 10 años.

Laetitia Thollot is a Franco-Mexican author. Born in Lyon, she studied Hispanic literature and philosophy before moving to Mexico. She is passionate about science fiction and a reader of authors such as H.G. Wells, Jack Vance, and Greg Egan.

In 2019, she won the Gran Angular Award with the science fiction novel aimed at young people, El mundo después. That same year, she obtained second place in the 4th Porrúa Children's and Youth Story Contest 2019 with the novel Xylo, el náufrago, a dystopia on the theme of migration. In 2021, her novel Ozono, a climate fiction aimed at children from the age of 12, was published. In 2022, her French play Chair de Poulpe was selected as part of the Selection of Dramatic Texts for Young People by Textes en Paroles to be performed and published. In 2023, she published No soy robot with Montena – Random House, a science fiction novel for readers over 9 years old. In 2023, she also won the VII International Children's and Youth Literature Contest FOEM 2023 for her novel La hidra de una sola cabeza. In 2024, she published the novel Octópolis, a fiction featuring octopuses, aimed at children from the age of 10.
