Togo Love uses the automobile as a portrait of humanity. Once a creation of beauty and craftsmanship and great purpose, his subjects are now out-moded and broken, discarded and forgotten. At times, obstacles enter one's life, often impeding its progress and, perhaps, even completely destroying it. Some victims of infirmity, though injured, wrecked and bent out of shape, still cling to life, hoping for restoration, rejuvenation and resurrection which may, or may not, come. Such is life.
