One Quirky Bird: The Roadrunner

Two pre-teen girls, Velma and Kelly, begin their summer break with a trail walk. They are startled by the sudden appearance of a strange, running/flying bird. The girls are mesmerized by the zany movements of this unique bird; they later decide to bicycle to their local public library to try to identify it. They come away with lots of factual, interesting, fun information about one quirky bird, the roadrunner!
