This book is a timely, must-read for Christians in America. It took me awhile to get through because it was a lot of weighty stuff to think through, but I was left so grateful for Dr. Moore's words and filled with hope. Dr. Moore looks at American culture and how the church should respond in a realistic and a biblical way. The gospel is central in Onward. Grace and truth saturate the book. Some may find this more of an academic style read, but I definitely recommend it because the message is so needed right now.
