Overview

The twins Alexander and Alexandra, and their parents, inherit a house from suddenly and inexplicably deceased relatives. Uncle Reggie and Aunt Henny hadn't been close relatives lately, so this inheritance is quite surprising.

A suitcase is the twins' legacy, which looks like a very small thing, but with the items they find inside it, a new world is opening for them, and that in the most literal way. The Other World gets them in touch with magic and a lot of information about what their uncle and aunt had been doing.

Meet Xander and Lex, who have a special connection to the twins, and Olga, a friendly witch with her own ways of doing things. Follow the twins on a tour of discovery into the OtherWorld and a Secret Cellar, where surprises, revelations and dangers await them.

About the Author

Paul Kater was born in the Netherlands in 1960. He quickly developed a feel for books and languages but ended up in the IT business despite that. Books and languages never ceased to fascinate him, so since 2003 he's been actively writing, encouraged by friends on the internet. The internet is the reason why most of his work is in English. A friend asking for writing help is why some of his writing is now also in Dutch.

Paul currently lives in Cuijk, the Netherlands, with his books, possibly with cats, and the many characters he's developed in the past years, who claim he is a figment of their imagination.
