I think this is a perfect book for teaching the Our Father to young children! The book contains the entire prayer as prayed in the Catholic Church. Each page has a line of the prayer and then a narrative to help explain the meaning of that line. The illustrations are adorable, the board book style is perfect for toddlers and the explanations are meaningful and appropriate. I love this book and the companion book "Hail Mary" (also by Sabrina Bus) and have bought copies for all the young children on my Christmas list for two years in a row!

I was looking for a book to help teach the Lord's prayer. This book did not contain the whole Lord's prayer. It took key parts of the prayer and added annotations. Not enough of the prayer to make it meaningful. My two, two-and-a-half year old grandchildren have listened to longer board books with no attention problems. I did like the board book format. It would withstand rough handling.
