Overview

On her sixth studio album, New York CCM singer Francesca Battistelli continues to take a lighter approach than many of her peers, offering up ten more tracks of hooky, infectious pop aimed more often than not at buoying the spirit rather than saving the soul. The followup to 2014's If We're Honest, Own It continues in the vein of its predecessor, using bright, upbeat, and sometimes quirky pop tracks like "The Breakup Song" to convey themes of encouragement and empowerment. ~ Timothy Monger
