A very very general summary of a once great airline. Nothing in depth, you could find out as much from just googling Pan Am. A grand total of 38 pages. I think it was someone's high school book report.

Poorly written, with numerous omissions and occasional errors. Little more than a magazine article. Not bad as an introduction to the subject, but there are better alternatives.

This book gives a quick but detailed history of America's first international airliner, Pan Am, which revolutionized flying with it's cutting edge fleets, glamour, high end service which led the airline industry from the 1920s to 1990s. First to fly many types of aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and to computerize airline booking systems or offer overseas flights to many countries all over the world as early as the 1930s It's fascinating history. I only gave this four stars because it is such a short book, only 38 pages in ereader format!
