Patrick the teddy bear has several small adventures in this young reader graphic novel. I found the stories a bit disjointed (not only does Patrick jump around on the page, the dialogue seems to jump around a bit as well), and while this MAY make sense to younger readers, I worry more that it will confuse readers unfamiliar with reading comic books. What I love about Toon Books, however, is the early reader comic book - inside the back cover is a list of the different levels, complete with grade level, Lexile reading levels, # of words, etc.
