When the bad guys are the good guys, who do you trust?
When those tasked with upholding the law should be who you turn to, what happens when you cannot? They are the monsters that go bump in the night. They are the truest evil in this world. I thought that the MC was the real danger, and now I know the truth.
Oubliette
The Broken Bows MC showed me the depth that I would go too to survive and that the bad guys are not always the bad guys. I've seen things-done things and I'm not that same woman anymore thanks to the Broken Bows and their integration into my life.
They showed me their malice. Their darkness. Their evil.
Not him though. Not him.
Busta showed me a compassion I would never expect from someone so vicious. It has me wondering, am I'm willing to find out more about him? To scramble through the mire of his deception and his viciousness, I may do things that I never thought possible to survive, to love, to find my happily ever after. It may change me in ways I never thought I would for love. Is it worth it?
Can I handle what is to come next?
Busta
One way or another, he'll pay for the damage to us, to them, to her...
Our club is in ruins, leaving me at the helm. I know now that King orchestrated it all. Our demise was of his design and I know there is still more to come in this all out war. I'm no one's Pawn though and I won't play by his games anymore. I'll find a way for us to turn the tables on him. To fix what was done. I have to thank the bastard though, his machinations brought her to me.
Oubliette. She's strong, fearless, and a gentle soul that does not belong here. She should be concocting margarita's, not dealing with the likes of me. I don't know if I have the strength in me to let her go though, to let her find love in someone deserving. I'm far from that. My lies and deception to the club could bring everything crashing down, and she along with me. I don't know if I can let her go before that happens.
