Paysages et Climats des Premiers Hominides en Italie

This volume presents and compares palynological evidence from two Italian sites in order to reconstruct environmental and climatic conditions in the Lower Palaeolithic period. Data from Ca'Belvedere di Monte Poggiolo in the foothills of the Apennine mountains, and La Pineta in the province of Molise, south-east of Rome, are presented separately and then compared.
