Susan has done a fantastic job with the book Personal Branding for Dummies. She provides a comprehensive explanation of what branding is and how to build your brand on and offline for short and long term professional success. She's included a wide array of resources, tools and case studies to help the reader understand important concepts and then put them into action. Her approach to the book was very on-brand for Susan and highly collaborative - there were 22 expert contributors. Susan has succeeded at presenting new and powerful ideas in clear and insightful way and making a sometimes overwhelming process accessible and actionable. A definite read for anyone interested in using personal branding to drive their career success.

With Personal Branding for Dummies I have found the perfect book to use that explains the process of personal branding. This book is content rich and a pleasure to read. What I especially enjoy about this book is that you can open it to any section and walk away with a piece of wisdom. Even though more than a score of personal branding experts contributed to Personal Branding for Dummies, you should know that its primary author Susan Chritton, a long time career coach, has the personal branding training and experience to tackle the subject as sole author. What makes this book extraordinary, though, is that Chritton reached out to these additional experts anyway, knowing it would make the book all the more useful for readers. Chritton then wove that collective wisdom seamlessly as a single voice, easy to read and offering useful exercises and actionable tips for anyone looking to better understand, communicate and amplify their personal brand. The result is a must have personal branding resource.

This book is a must-read for anyone who wants to better understand what their personal brand is, identify their brand attributes, develop a personal marketing plan that will help them portray themselves authentically and then how to actually implement it. It's full of actionable steps that you can take on your own or, you can partner with friend to bounce ideas off of. The book also serves as a compilation of some of the best and brightest that are practicing and preaching personal branding.
