This story had me laughing. A funny, little story about the wonderful funny world of outhouses! Pete gets invited to a meeting of The Women's Library Association to give a presentation on Pete’s Mighty Purty Privies and the women seemed very interested. Aubrey did an awesome job with this book. I Loved it!!

Pete's Mighty Purty Privies feels so real even though this is full of humor. I laughed nearly all the way and I was disappointed that it ends early. I would love to know those wives conversation with the husband. Great read though!

I haven’t read many short stories in stand-alone fashion but that doesn’t diminish that this is the best one I have ever read! It is laugh out loud funny! I disturbed a corporate lunch room with my guffaws while reading the issues that revolve around finding a decent place to do your business in rural America in the late 19th century. Hilarious and light hearted. Beautifully written. Characters are well developed in just a few lines. The author has a gift for clarity and humor and I can’t recommend this short story enough. Hilarious! Brilliant! My Rating: 5+ stars

I remember outhouses very well and when I was a child always being afraid I would fall in. The last outhouse was in the mountains of New Mexico on my husband's family ranch. It was a two-seater with a view. I wouldn't go alone at night, too many mountain lion sightings and bear tracks.

This was a darling story. There are some things that are becoming relics of the past, and outhouses are one of those things. Pete has a rather convincing presentation for the ladies. Who knew outhouses came with so many options? This will make you chuckle often. A nostalgic look at something that used to be so common.

A short, funnystory concerning the wonderful world of privies, or what most of us might call outhouses. Pete is a salesman who is trying to sell souped up privies to a group of ladies from the Women's Library Association. He describes the various levels of privie right up to the Presidential Model, of course they all come with a certain number of magazines. The woman share some of their own hilarious Privy stories. I laughed at all the amenities he planned to add with each upgrade. This is a light read that will leave anyone who reads it laughing. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
