About the Author

Ian Marshall took over as Editor of the Playfair Cricket Annual in 2009, having previously worked on 15 editions of the annual in his role as a book publisher. During his 35-year publishing career, he has worked with some of cricket's greatest players, including Mike Atherton, Lord Ian Botham, Sir Geoffrey Boycott, Stuart Broad, David Gower, Michael Holding, Justin Langer, Dennis Lillee and Sir Garry Sobers. He played club cricket for more than 40 years, and has toured Africa, India and Sri Lanka.
