The "Pockets" books help teach children some small lessons about life; being happy, laughing, sharing, playing with others, and being a friend.
In this adventure, Pockets and Clara come up with a fun way to help the local shelter where animals go when they can't stay with their people.

About the Author
Suzanne Crolley, the author and illustrator of the "Pockets" books, is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. She has enjoyed a long and successful career as a commercial artist; spending many wonderful years in Tulsa Oklahoma, then the Missouri Ozarks, and now at last making her home in the beautiful mountains of the Blue Ridge. The "Pockets" books are drawn from Suzanne's real-life, everyday experiences with her animals and their friends, each of whom she loves dearly. Today she lives with her husband, her two dogs, her three cats, and Beaker the Bird in their happy home in Brevard, North Carolina.
