I do not think that Pride and Prejudice and Zombies can top this charming and funny recasting of P&P as a counting book for kids.

Review Another terrific board book from Babylit! I can't get over how much I love ...err I mean how much my granddaughter loves this series. For the first time ever she is pretending aloud that she is reading. She's never shown any interest in books unless they play music until now. The books are constructed of heavy board and reinforced so they last. This particular book is counting to 10. The number on one page and the illustration of the opposite page. The images are all taken from the original book; Jane Eyre. Never one to have been impressed with board books ( lackluster, boring, waste of money), these books are a solid investment in your toddler's pleasure. I am definitely partial to these books

Pride & Prejudice is a counting primer board book that I thought was very beautifully designed and decorated. The numbers signify different key aspects of the classic novel and offer children a chance to learn more about Pride & Prejudice with little tidbits about the story illustrated throughout. Four marriage proposals demonstrate the number four, with little quips from the couples explaining very briefly how their relationships evolved. My favorite number was nine, with the selection of nine fancy ball gowns!

"...I would recommend this for both your tiny ladies AND gentlemen, because little boys can enjoy the classics too, and that includes Austen. Plus, numbers and counting are for people of every gender! This also makes a sweet and unique gift for any Janeite."
