After enjoying Thomas Greanias Atlantis series, I was excited to dive into The Promised War. Since it is only 200 pages, it was a quick read, but I believe Thomas Greanias could have expanded on his Deker character and given us a little more excitement. I am hoping this is a prelude to part 2. There is a little activity when Deker wakes up in the past; which is easy to follow and doesn't get the reader confused with unnecessary filler information. Perhaps Thomas was trying to get us to relate more to the religious factors? Instead of a light brushing, Thomas should just dive right in and give us an adventure to sink our teeth into.

Interesting premise, but shallow plot development and even weaker character analysis. I would have give zero stars if the online rating permitted. I learned a valuable lesson to first preview a sample of an ebook by an unknown author before purchasing.

Poorly conceived, poorly written and truly unbelievable. On top of that the author's obsession with male sexual anatomy and circumcision was disturbing. Truly the author should seek help and the publisher should be ashamed for publishing such slop. I wull never read another piece of garbage from this clown again
