WOW!!!! Protecting His Forever is definitely a MUST READ!!! I was captivated from the very beginning as it sent me on an emotional rollercoaster ride as well as a laughing frenzy. A heartwarming story of two people falling deeply in love, starting a relationship when in the blink of an eye, they have abused young children dropped off at their door step and a stalker in the midst. Intense emotions concerning the children that broke my heart. Laughter that put me in tears. My favorite scene was when little, innocent seven year old Carter took the cat to school thinking it was going to be eaten. A very well written story that kept me so intrigued throughout the entire book. Love the characters. Kane and his protective mode was off the charts, especially at the end. So hilarious!! Sydney was a great heroine. I would strongly recommend this book. Can't wait to read more of LeAnn Ashers books!!! A new fan!!

I really wanted to like thus book. The whole, tough but affectionate alpha with the big heart rescues the sweet, sassy damsel in distress is one of my absolute fave plot lines. The problem was the writing was very stilted and choppy. The was no flow to the conversations or to the changes in time, place, or activity. And several times random characters or conversations would just come out of nowhere. I REALLY HATE leaving reviews like this; because just by writing this book, the author has done something I have tried, and failed, to do! But, to me, this one was so bad I had to say something.
