03/24/2014 Trust and betrayal are the themes of Christy Award–winning Kendig’s (Wolfsbane) fast-paced military suspense novel, the first in a new series featuring Capt. Dean Watters and his team. Deployed in Afghanistan, Watters and his team are unstoppable. But Zarah Zarrick, daughter of a retired general and now a Christian missionary teacher of young Afghan girls, is also unstoppable. She has the technical skills the Afghan terrorists covet, and to Watters’s dismay, she trusts that God will protect her. Separately and together, they must learn whom they can trust. As the stakes are raised higher and higher, Zarah and Watters stand against the wiles of terrorists and the skewed values of supposed friends to prove themselves to God, each other, and themselves. Agent: Steve Laube, Steve Laube Agency. (May)

RAPTOR 6 by Ronie Kendig is an exciting, heart pumping Inspirational Military Suspense. #1 in "The Quiet Professionals" and what a beginning! WOW!! Fast paced, filled with action, romance, faith, secrets, hackers, a disappearance, danger, suspense, a bit of romance and lots of high-octane military-stye action. Ms. Kendig, will grab you on the first page and not let you go, even on the very last page. She has done the Military proud with her true to life stories, and the way she honors their heroism, and their fight for freedom. I can't wait for the next installment. You know by the ending, this is NOT the ending, just, the beginning! A must-read Military Suspense! Well done, indeed!
My Book Addiction Reviews - April Renn
Another heart pounding summer read. Raptor 6 grips you at the start and doesn't let go until you are done.
A book that makes you question what you would do and forces you to look at our world, our military and the people who really exist in the midst of war.
The cost is very high and Ronie Kendig does a wonderful job of portraying war, life, death, politics, family, faith, strength and dignity in the presence of chaos.
This is a series to watch and an author to pay attention to as more books come out!
Our Goodwin Journey - Jenilee Goodwin
Ronie Kendig is one of those rare authors who never fails to amaze me. No matter how many of her books I read, she always manages to outdo herself. Raptor 6 is no exception. The Quiet Professionals trilogy opens with rapid-fire force, pulling readers into a web so deep and tangled that surfacing feels like breaking water in a desperate attempt for air. If book one is any indication of what awaits in the next two installments, there is no doubt The Quiet Professionals will become my favorite Kendig series.
Fans of Kendig and/or military suspense won’t want to delay in getting their hands on this one.
Fiction Addict - Elizabeth Olmedo
I think this is probably the best of Kendig's novels I have read. The action is great and the character development superb. The romantic development is well done. The suspense at the end is breath taking.
Book Woman Joan - Joan Nienhuis
As always, Ronie knows her way around a military plot. She brings the characters to life and provides plenty of heart-stopping scenes. For me, no one places us as closely to the center of what our military men and women face on a daily basis quite like Ronie--to be sure, she doesn't shrink away from the tough stuff and always handles it with the utmost respect. Reading her books reminds me how incredibly grateful I am to those on the front lines.
Steps into the Abundant Life - Susan Tuttle
Raptor 6 was a real page-turner and well written. It is obvious that the author has done a great deal of research and it really comes through during the story. This book is a fast-paced thriller that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
I’ll be on the lookout for the next one in this series for sure! Good Book!
Ronie has really upped the ante with “Raptor 6″. I promise you, her books just keep getting better with each one published.
“Raptor 6″ is definitely a must read book. Don’t wait too long to pick up a copy.
I really enjoyed this book, but then again I LOVE her style, characterization, and pacing. Her stories are always well researched, fast paced, and real. The romance is light and real - never forced or contrived. The religious aspects are never overbearing and placed correctly to help tell the story.
