Readiness for Religion

How do we educate our children about God? Should we say nothing about God to our children at all? This would, in practice, be very difficult to do, unless we were to follow Rousseau’s model, and take them in solitude into the woods. If we say nothing, then the world will say a great deal, for talk about God is no prerogative of Christian people. Those who are “against” God still talk about him. So sooner or later we would have to find an answer to the question, Mummy, what is God?
