In Book IV of the Rebellion Series – The Enemy Within, the great Exodus from Earth has now been completed. The Underground Resistance has established new hidden colonies in the Sanctuary star system, far from the ever-expanding influence of the Federation on Earth but, they discover that their work is not yet done. Uprooting a people and establishing a new society based upon freedom of the individual with minimal government interference is proving to be easier said than done. To complicate matters, many Federation Sleeper agents have unfortunately been included in the new population. These agents had been placed in the emigration stream to spy on and disrupt the known existing colony on New Horizons – and now surprisingly found themselves somewhere unexpected. Their new goal is to rise to positions of power on these new worlds so that they may ultimately find the means to betray the location of these Rebels to the forces of the Federation.
These Federation agents will stop at nothing in order to achieve their goals and will use the very freedoms guaranteed on these new worlds to undermine and destroy them.
