Loved this book. The love between grandfather and granson was so special. The things Ed tried to do to make his grandfather happy in his last days went straight to the heart.

I liked the story, but wished Ms. Overton had written something telling about what the characters did during the year long wait.

Wow this was such a good will laugh, cry and say oh my..........Amelia and Ed both had hards blows dealt to them as kids so love was hard for both if them.......the author showed how amelias compassion and stanleys stubborness to change eds view on love.........wanted more background on why amelias mom put a man before her kids, and the circumstances of ed being shot.......i was not dissapointed

The story line was good.. Needed a lit bit more editing. But I can say it was a page turner and had me laughing in certain spots.

This book had the potential to be really good. The lack of ability to communicate between the main characters was disappointing. Instead of a very good read it was just ok.
