Right to My Wrong by Lani Lynn Vale

Sterling and Ruthie have more things in common than they realize, even though from the outside it doesn't seem like they do.

Sterling is a decorated war hero.

Ruthie is an ex-con.

Their two worlds should've never collided, but fate has a way of turning life in the direction least expected. Now Ruthie has to try to come to terms with the fact that she's in love with a biker who's also a decorated Navy SEAL. One who leaves for months at a time with little to no advance warning, taking her heart with him each time he goes.

Sterling has a lot of things to overcome in order to have Ruthie, the biggest being her mind.

She doesn't think she's good enough.

He thinks she's perfect.

Now it's up to him to show her just how right he can be.

Silas started introducing some kink and Sterling added to that a bit. A new dimension to her usual yummy alpha. This one was very dark in some ways, very emotional. Can't wait for the next one!

It's one great story after another. I loved Silas' book, and now I have another one to love. Sterling and Ruthie's story had some twists and turns, but in the end, it was just about 2 hurt souls finding each. Healing each other. Giving each other something more to live for. Loved it. Can't wait for Lani Lynn Vale's next book. She doesn't disappoint.

This book is about Sterling and Ruthie, and what it is like to be in love with a military man. Sterling gets the last minute phone call just as he is supposed to be getting ready for a first date. He forgets to call her and she reacts like any woman would. He and Ruthie each have their demons, but they do overcome them…together. I just LOVE Lani Lynn Vale’s paces in these books. She has quickly become one of my top 4 favorite authors. I started at the beginning of the Dixie Wardens MC series and haven’t stopped until I ran out of reading material. She is a WONDERFUL AUTHOR!!!! I can’t wait for more from her!!!!

Another good book by this author. About 190+pages, with plenty of steamy loving, emotional issues, friendship, and heartache. There is times when it did seem that the scenes were jumping a bit and I was thinking, "hey, wait a minute, what happened to...?.". It is always nice having some of the gang from her previous books in the story as well, so we can catch up with them too. Can not wait for next book.....****

I usually love any book by this author, but this book was horrible. Switching scenes without warning had me so confused. I am really disappointed. I have been waiting for Sterling's story since he was introduced.

Lani is one of my all-time favorite authors. I haven’t read a book that I haven’t like by her. And she has over twenty books out. To me that’s pretty impressive. Right to my Wrong was a great read. From the last book, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book. We found out enough in the last book about Ruthie that you wanted her story right then. And what a awful story it was. I felt sorry for Ruthie after learning her story. I mean how you could not. It was very obvious that Ruthie had the worst background out of the two. And Sterling. I loved him. Even thought he was quite a few years younger than Ruthie, which I figured I would have had a bigger problem than I did with the age difference because I like the guys to be older than the woman but I didn’t. Lani actually did a really good job with that. I never really crossed my mind to be honest as I was reading. Right to my Wrong doesn’t have as much suspense as her other books, but that didn’t really bother me. Don’t get me wrong, it still does have suspense but not as much as her other books, but I still thought it was a really good book. I can’t wait for her next release!!

4.5 star The story has laughs, pain, betrayal, secrets, suspense and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading these first: Lights to My Siren (The Heroes of the Dixie Wardens MC, #1) - Sebastian & Baylee Halligan to My Axe (The Heroes of the Dixie Wardens MC, #2) - Kettle & Adeline Kevlar to My Vest (The Heroes of the Dixie Wardens MC, #3) - Trance & Viddy Keys to My Cuffs (The Heroes of the Dixie Wardens MC #4) – Loki & Channing Life To My Flight (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC Book, #5) – Rue & Cleo Charge To My Line (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC #6) – Torren & Tru Counter To My Intelligence (The Heroes of The Dixie Wardens MC #7) – Sawyer & Silas This is Ruthie and Sterling’s story. Ruthie is out of jail after serving time for killing her husband. What the people of the town don’t know is exactly why she killed him. Sterling knows about her serving jail but that does not matter to him. He wants her and is determined to have her. Can he convince her that he is different than the men she knew before him? Sterling goes away on missions that he can’t talk about. When he finally gets a date and does not show he knows that he will have to fight for a second date after the mission. When the mission goes wrong will he even make it back the same as before? With the neighbor’s out to get Ruthie will she have to move in order to get some peace from them? When the threats around Ruthie escalate can Sterling get the club to help him protect what is his? When the threats turn to murder will Ruthie run? Will Sterling be able to get her to believe that people are behind her and love her even after hearing about her past? Can Ruthie believe that Sterling loves her? Or is she just too damaged to believe? I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.
