Brynja Wisting thought her life couldn't get any worse: she had just broken up with Jared, still wasn't over being dumped by Vic, butchered her hair in a depressed fit, and had to go back to school for all to judge, including the two boys at the center of her turmoil. That is, she thought it couldn't get any worse until she found herself caught between two warring factions of elves.
