Written throughout the pandemic and the unsure years that followed, Rituals is Penny's third book of poetry. The artwork for this title evokes feelings of drowning and hopelessness but at the same time the peacefulness of surrendering. Touching on the darkness of closed church doors and isolation to the everyday rituals and relationships that thrived and bloomed, the author is true to her contradictory writing style.
