Overview

There's only one way to Rule The Dark, and Macey has to find it.

The Wardens may be down to six, but that doesn't mean they have any less to do. The final battle is approaching, and Macey isn't sure she's ready. With old friends and old enemies reappearing, this really is the final showdown.

The only question remaining is whether or not she'll get waffles.

Rule the Dark is the epic conclusion to the Seven Wardens series, a fantasy reverse harem (still) drenched in mythology.

About the Author

Skye MacKinnon is an International Bestselling author with a slight obsession with Scotland, bunnies and dried mango. And when she says slight... her friends are trying to find ways to trick her into not having a book set in Scotland.

You'll often find Skye bribing herself into writing words using cake and tea, but whatever works, right?

Whether they're set in space (Scottish space, obviously), fantasy worlds (Scottish fantasy worlds, obviously), or Scotland, Skye's tales are full of magic, romance and adventure. Oh and unicorns.

Rule the Dark by Laura Greenwood and Skye MacKinnon is the seventh and last book in the Seven Wardens Series. Even though this book is the final end to the saga that started in book one it can stand on its own. The characters and the adventures they go on throughout this book make it such a fun read. Also, the romantic elements between Macey and her lovers is off the charts with sensual heat. If you are looking for an exciting reverse harem save the world paranormal adventure then you will love this book too. Rule the Dark is a spectacular reverse harem romance.

The Wardens were dealing from the loss of Amber. At a dedication to their fallen comrade they renew their vow to complete the Warden mission and destroy those who would do harm. Marcy travels with Cam to the Kelpie Kingdom. She finds it difficult with the betrayal of her brothers so fresh in her mind. She is shocked her brother Bruce has turned himself in but when she goes to talk to him she finds he is processed. The Brollachan asked Marcy to come closer and then it attacked, trying to fill her with its darkness but she drove it out and killed it. Unfortunately when the creative left Bruce he passed away after giving her a message of warning. And so begins the seventh book in the Seven Wardens series. What a great book to finish off the series with. It is a paranormal reverse harem thriller. Oh my! This was one really creative book with such amazingly unique characters that will stick with me. I found it a bit hard at the beginning as this was the first book I read in the series but now I want to go back and read the others. The writing was wonderful. The narrative descriptive and informative. The dialogue was interesting. With so much going on and multiple stories within the main storyline, the author does a great job of weaving them all together to create a suspenseful action packed adventure that draws the reader in. There is enough emotional drama to satisfy anyone who like romance and some steamy scenes as well. What a great book! Rule The Dark is the final book in the Seven Wardens series and what an amazing ending. I loved Macy she's such a strong character and I have to admit I'm going to miss all the intriguing characters in this series. If you've started reading the series from the beginning then you know what I mean, if you haven't you definitely need to catch up. I don't want to give anything away from the ending but I will say this is another unforgettable story!

What an exciting conclusion to the Seven Wardens series. Macey and the rest of the Seven Wardens crew are back and even more determined to defeat the blobs. There is even more action, adventure, steaminess, and even some waffles :) I have loved this series and am sad to see it end, but was happy with the conclusion :)
