Rumor Going 'Round

When rumors start circling,

Do you walk the other way?

Or give them something to talk about?

She was the one I always secretly wanted

But it was never meant to be,

I landed myself in the friend zone.

He was my high-school crush,

Who grew up into the single sexy dad,

Putting his life on the line with every fire he fought.

One spin around the dance floor has our friends talking,

Wondering if we could get any closer.

We blew the rumors off until one day, we really gave them something to talk about.
